Crowdsourcing is a novel Internet-based method that allows specified crowds to collaborate on producing information products. My interest in crowdsourcing lies in applications in the fields of architectural design and urban planning.

In recent years, architects and designers have gained interest in the ethics and production methods of free software communities also known as “open source”. I am interested in the way architects try to apply these methods to resolve design politics in architecture and urban design.
